Introduction to Aerospace Skilled Trades – Aircraft Maintenance

Location: IMP Academy, Halifax, NS

Date: 13 July – 7 August 2026

Note: Dates listed do not include travel. Cadets should plan for 1–2 travel days before and after their course.

Eligibility Criteria

Cadets must:

• Be 16–18 years of age during the course (inclusive of start and end dates)

  • Exception: Marine Small Engine Repair (BCIT) requires a maximum age of 17 as of 1 September 2026 (due to its two-year commitment)

• Be qualified at Phase 3 / Silver Star / Proficiency Level 3 by 30 June 2026

• Be able to participate in English-language instruction

• Be available for the full duration of the course
